The Museum employs 14 full-time, 5 part-time, and 7 contract employees.

Requirements: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in American History, Anthropology, Art History, Art/Museum Education, or a related field, preferably supplemented by graduate-level study.
2 nine-month, paid, full-time intern positions are available annually for a Curatorial/Registration Intern and a Curatorial/Education Intern. These positions offer project-specific experience and provide substantial training in museum work for entry-level professionals.

Curatorial/Registration Intern:
Projects relate to the care, research, and documentation of the collection; data entry and inventory; and exhibition development.

Curatorial/Education Intern:
Projects relate to the development of public programs; gallery didactics and interactive programming; and exhibition development.
