Annual Fund Gifts
Beyond membership, Annual Fund dollars are critical to the growth of the Roswell Museum and Art Center. As you consider your year-end planning, we hope you will consider a tax-deductible gift to the Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation, a 509 (a) (3) organization that provides additional annual support to the Museum and its programs. A gift can reduce your income tax while providing meaningful support for conservation initiatives, student scholarships for studio classes, educational programs, collection acquisitions, and special projects. Charitable year-end gifts make a difference in what we are able to accomplish in each coming year, and add value to what we offer to the future of our community. Contact rmacfound@quest.net for details on how to make an Annual Fund Gift. If your employer has a matching gifts program, let us know; you could double your investment in the Roswell Museum and Art Center.

Legacy Gifts
There are a number of Legacy Gift options available to donors that not only offer income tax benefits but also support the Roswell Museum and Art Center’s efforts in the future.

Outright Cash Gifts
These gifts can be tailored to your interests if you would like to donate significant funds that support Studio Class Scholarships for children and adults who require assistance, our Art Conservation Program, the Collections Acquisitions Fund, and initiatives that offer capital expansion opportunities.

Bequests
You can name the Roswell Museum and Art Center in your will. Contact your accountant, attorney, and/or estate planner for assistance in making the decision to bequest a portion of your assets to the Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation.

Stocks
To make a charitable contribution of stock assets, contact your broker and the RMAC Foundation to make this donation.

Life Insurance
Insurance that is not needed by your family can be donated outright to the Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation, or by naming the Foundation as a full or partial beneficiary. Contact your accountant, attorney, and/or estate planner for assistance in making the decision to donate a life insurance policy to the Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation.

Retirement Plans
Funds that remain in retirement plans at death will be taxed. A full or partial contribution to the Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation can reduce income and estate taxes at the time of your death. Contact your accountant, attorney, and/or estate planner for assistance in making the decision to donate a retirement plan to the Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation.

Charitable Lead Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts, and Retained Life Estates
These options can be tailored to the specific needs and interests of the donor and his or her family, and offer varying benefits during the life of the donor as well as income and estate tax reductions. Contact your accountant, attorney, and/or estate planner for assistance in making the decision to establish a Charitable Lead Trust, Charitable Remainder Trust, and/or Retained Life Estates.

A Gift in Tribute
The Roswell Museum and Art Center Foundation recognizes a friend or loved one in perpetuity. Gifts of this nature can be made to the Acquisitions, Education, Conservation, and Scholarship funds, or can be customized according to your interest.

Gifts of Art and Cultural Materials
The Roswell Museum and Art Center’s Permanent Collection is constantly evolving. Most museums do not have the available funds to purchase works of art and artifacts for their collections, therefore donations and bequests are gratefully accepted and appreciated.
