The Roswell Museum and Art Center relies on dedicated volunteers to sustain and grow its programs and activities. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available in the Docent, Greeters, and Collections Management Programs.

To learn more about current opportunities, contact the following individuals:

Docent Program
Ellen Moore, Curator of Education, 575-624-6744, ext. 22; moore@roswellmuseum.org

Docents provide guided tours of the Museum’s exhibitions and collections for student and adult groups and undergo an extensive training program in the arts and history of the Southwest. Knowledge in art history, art, anthropology, and/or public education is recommended.

Greeters Program
Dee Nallie, Membership Coordinator, 575-624-6744, ext. 10; nallie@roswellmuseum.org

Greeters are our frontline receptionists and welcome visitors to the Museum. Interest in and experience with visitor services and hospitality is recommended.

Collections Management Program
Registrar, 575-624-6744, ext. 13

Collections Management volunteers assist in cataloging and caring for the collection, must be detail oriented and possess organizational skills, and have an interest in art historical and/or historical research.
